Marriage

Couples planning marriage need to make an appointment with the pastor at least six months before the intended wedding date to begin the preparation process. A wedding date cannot be scheduled without approval of the pastor.

Marriage is the union between man and woman that commit to loving each other and remaining faithful for the rest of their lives.

This union is a bond that ascends beyond mortal emotion. It is a path to holiness. The reason of marriage is to be with another, and to guide each other to a closer relationship to God. Marriage is meant to be a way of growing the faith, creating life, and continuing to live out God's will in each other. Marriage is to be there, through sickness, through health, through bad, through good, and through all the challenges of life, and remaining true to one another, and your relationship to your faith.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” Ephesians 5:31
